Incoloy 800 Buttweld Fittings come in various types, each serving a specific purpose in piping systems. The most commonly used types are elbows, tees, reducers, and caps. Elbows are used to change the direction of the piping system. Tees branch off the main pipe in two or more directions. Reducers are used to connect pipes with different diameters. Caps are used to close the end of the pipe. All these fittings are made from Incoloy 800 and can withstand high temperatures and corrosive environments.

Incoloy 800H is a modified version of Incoloy 800, with a higher carbon content to provide improved strength and higher creep resistance in high-temperature environments. Incoloy 800H Buttweld Fittings are ideal for applications where the temperature exceeds 1100°F (593°C). These fittings are commonly used in heat-treating equipment, chemical processing, and petrochemical plants. Incoloy 800H is also suitable for nitric acid service, which corrodes most stainless steel. Incoloy 800HT is a variation of Incoloy 800, with even higher carbon content (0.06% max) than Incoloy 800H. That gives Incoloy 800HT even greater strength and improved resistance to carburization and oxidation in high-temperature environments. Incoloy 800HT Buttweld Fittings are ideal for applications where the temperature exceeds 1600°F (871°C), such as thermal processing equipment, power generation plants, and chemical processing plants. Incoloy 800HT buttweld fittings are also suitable for reducing sulfur-containing atmospheres and environments containing nitrogen oxides.
